“The only condition under which people change from the inside out is if they're getting their teaching from somebody they know loves them. Truth without love is a power play."
- Tim Keller
@DaneMiodov Jesus separated the people who listened to him into two groups:
“The crowd”
And
“Disciples”
Some actually followed him. We know others just gathered around him.
The world will never stop throwing stones. Look outside the west. You’ll see they’re martyring people.
@DaneMiodov My point? This is normal. Keep loving, leading, and teaching. First, tend to your own spiritual restoration and OUT of that — lead and love others.
Some will have ears to hear. Others will not. Dust your feet. Move forward. There are 2 Billion who don’t know him. Some will hear
@DaneMiodov We have it backwards. Doing before being.
We are human BEINGS.
Sadly, most leaders don’t know this themselves. They are full of trying to do rather than training to BE.
Our churches are overflows of our leaders. Representations of those leading the very people attending.

Finally? When you become like Jesus you begin to do what Jesus did.
@elonmusk Which showcases and proves to us…we are God’s grandest accomplishment, the pinnacle proof of his love, and he is the reason for our existence — to bring him glory as we enjoy the life (and creation) he gave us.
It is the greatest love letter ever written.
“The best people possess a feeling for beauty, the courage to take risks, the discipline to tell the truth, the capacity for sacrifice. Ironically, their virtues make them vulnerable; they are often wounded, sometimes destroyed.”
- Ernest Hemingway
We live in a noisy, busy world that does violence to the soul. If you want to experience life like Jesus — simply put: you must do what Jesus did.
Simple? Yes.
Easy? No.
You must practice eliminating good things for greater spiritual reward. You must make holy exchanges.
“There is a common worldly kind of Christianity in this day which many have and they think they have enough. It is a cheap Christianity which offends nobody, requires no sacrifice, which costs nothing, and is actually worth nothing.” - JC Ryle
