Gutted for William yesterday as Essex fell 2–0 to Lancashire in the National Cup Final. Could easily have been a couple of goals up at half‑time, but that’s football. Really proud of him — solid performance on a big stage and an amazing experience playing at the Bet365.
🔥 Job. Done.
The boys wrapped up the final group game with a 3–0 win over Norfolk.
4 wins from 4, group winners, and a home semi-final secured.
Essex U16s : FA County Schools South East England competition.
Not to be for us today but extremely proud of the boys in what has been a very competitive season. Still 2 cup finals to contest.
Congratulations to all involved @GWR13sEJA on winning the U15 red division. Well deserved for being the most consistent team over the season
Many congratulations to the under fifteens who secured the league title after defeating Bowers & Pitsea 2-1 in their final home game of the season.
They've had a fantastic season, many congratulations to Jon, the management and the boys🟢⚪️🏆
The toughest of days for William yesterday. DoE expedition weekend with school hiking, camping, no sleep, then playing the biggest game of the season running on fumes. Not his best game but helped this fantastic set of lads get a positive result in the tensest of games! ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Great morning for the boys as they progress to the League Cup semi finals and with results going their way elsewhere win the Brentwood top division U11s medal league! ⚽️⚽️⚽️
@GWR13sEJA@BowersEJA_U13 Proud of the boys today and they put in a performance in that second half. Didn’t deserve to lose in the manner they did today, but no shame in losing to a very good Bowers side. Good luck in the next round! ⚽️
Centre of Excellence Update:
Today has seen the first full programme of fixtures for our U9s to U16s age groups since our summer relaunch alongside @SUFCCommunity.
The teams have travelled to Dartford, who have been hosting the matches at Princes Park throughout the day.
Along with our other new teams we also welcome our new Bowers U11 Reds!
Throwing themselves into the top division of the Brentwood league, some of the boys have played for bowers before and have gelled as a group so well already and have a great future ahead! Welcome all! 🔴⚪️
