We British Christians would get excited when, once a year, Queen Elizabeth would make a mild but sincere reference to the love of Jesus Christ in her Christmas address.

In Charlie Kirks' Memorial service, watched by tens of millions, I just heard:
- Multiple clear presentations of the gospel from men like @robmccoyus and @DrFrankTurek with clear calls to repentance and faith
- Worship songs full of Scripture sung by tens of thousands live and millions at home
- Personal testimonies of lives transformed by the work of Christ and the witness of believers
- Demonstration and explanation of the value of marriage, child-rearing and family
- Calls to Romans 13 for the government to bear the sword for the protection of good and punishment of the wicked
- Declarations of spiritual warfare on the forces of evil and promises to endure no matter the cost
- Calls to be prophets and call the nation to repent
- More Scripture references and Bible readings than I can count
- And a widow publicly forgiving her husband's killer because Christ forgave his killers on the cross.

All of it done before, and by, the most powerful people in your nation and the world.

You guys should be on your knees thanking God for your country. It is a light to the world.

Never stop fighting for it.

My fellow Americans. Listen to me.

I'll explain it in a different way. There’s a reason we in the military act so harshly when people celebrate the deaths of innocent Americans. Forget the Constitution for a moment. Forget the laws. Let’s talk about values. American values.

We value life. Period. Just as much as others in the Middle East value death. And the reason this shakes us so deeply in uniform is because we have seen this behavior before.

Your War Department is run by GWOT veterans. We spent years in wars with no end, surrounded by populations that rejoiced at death. It wasn’t just insurgents. It was entire villages. Death was the goal. They butchered each other for sport, chopped each other into pieces, and then danced in the streets as if it were the 4th of July. That was alien to us. And many who witnessed it never made it home in spirit. Some took their own lives, unable to reconcile what they saw.

In those dark days overseas, we survived by escaping in our minds. Thinking of home: loved ones, clean streets, apple pie, Toby Keith on the 4th of July. A place where all was well and good under the sun. A place where life and love were worth not just dying for, but living for.

So when we come home and see celebrations of American death.... when children cheer the killing of a president, or when adults in uniform worship death as unhinged as the terrorists we fought.... it rips us apart. It throws us back into the world where everything was backwards. And in a fight-or-flight response, we set ourselves to defeat that thinking, because this is the only place we have left.

It makes no sense to us: why fight a war in lands where death reigned supreme, only to come home a few years later and see the same obsession with death happen here? Do you understand now? Do you see how horrifying this is?

This isn’t just about breaking the oath. It’s about breaking the very fabric of what we fought to preserve. This thinking is a cancer, and it must be cut out. For those still salvageable: find the light. Find God. Find anything that brings you back to sanity.

Because the alternative is the death of America’s soul, and no constitution can save a nation that no longer values life.

The inevitable denials have begun.

Leftists are denying that Charlie Kirk's murderer was motivated by Left ideology. I'm sure that their story is going to be that he was a lone nutter with the slogans like "Catch this, fascist!" on his bullets being the random exhalations of a disordered mind. Nothing to do with them.

It's not going to work.

The Left has made this killer theirs by celebrating him. And by dancing in Charlie Kirk's blood after a solid decade of screaming for political violence against conservatives.

As I write, it's too soon to know whether we're going to find even stronger evidence of an Antifa connection than "Catch this, fascist" on his ammunition. But it also doesn't matter.

There are two cases here. The easy one is that Tyler Robinson is explicitly part of the Antifa terror network and cell structure. The hard case is that he's a stochastic terrorist.

I wrote previously about the three kinds of terrorist: zealot, nutter, and pro. Now it's time to talk about the fact that the boundary between zealot and nutter is fuzzy. The stochastic terrorist comes from that liminal zone.

One of the ways that you can run a terror network is by directing incessant hate propaganda at borderline mental cases, supplying them with a target for their disturbance and rage.

You don't know which ones will pop off, or what their target will be. But if your objective is nihilistic terror against "the system", you also don't care.

The Right can't do this, because the Right doesn't own most of the media and the educational system. Right-wing hate propaganda is a thing, but to immerse yourself in it you have to seek it out and immerse yourself in sources and channels that are effectively almost banned from polite society.

To immerse yourself in left-wing hate propaganda, all you have to do is exist in the United States and not stop your ears and eyes. Because it's everywhere. If you're a conservative or a libertarian in this country, the dull background roar of left-wing hate is a constant, wearying fact of life.

Every once in a while, some borderline mental case is going to get a mind full of that crap and lash out. Tyler Robinson may be one of those.

Either way - fully subscribed zealot or stochastic nutball - the Left owns him. It made him. And it's their bullet that tore through Charlie Kirk's neck.
