Proud of HTT NW - exceptional team during challenging time. Couldn’t have asked for a better team and l am happy to lead . Let’s keep doing what we do best supporting those experiencing mental health crisis. We couldn’t have done it without the input of other services. Thank you
Surrey police stop and search is getting out of hand. My son was right outside our house when an unmarked police car just stopped in front of him & police officers came out -handcuffed him and searched him & let him go -they said he looked suspicious. Disappointed & concerned 😔
Sometimes we take annual leave for granted and we forget that it’s there for a reason - feels good relaxing , chilling and enjoying time away from work for a bit 🍺
Day 1- very informative - more awareness of the core relation between physical and mental health. Good to see joint work between primary and secondary care although there is still a long way to go resource wise - Notable improvement though
Act of Kindness. Two members of staff went to buy lunch in Aldi & their bank card couldn’t go through. While they were about to take the food back to the shelves a lady behind them paid for it. Turns out the kind lady works for Aldi and she was aware they were nurses. Thank you
Last working day at ACU today , mixed emotions as HTT NW relocates to Two Bridges in Chertsey. We move in on Monday 11/04, please do come see us ,happy to show you around and the tea and coffee is lush, amazing place to work and easily accessible.
136 ACU closes its doors this evening as we open new doors tomorrow at FRH. The new suite in FRH is amazing and spacious. I hear the coffee and tea taste good too😆Thank you to all who have worked hard to make the move happen and be as comfortable as it can be. Thank you
As ACU shuts down to make way for new hospital. I would like to say a big Thank you to 136 ACU staff, proudly all are going to the new site all of them , we didn’t lose anybody. That’s great team spirit , you hold hands and walk together. It’s been a pleasure working with you all
Please look out for your #NHS colleagues, family members and friends who say they’re coping just now. In case they’re not.
This includes senior colleagues and leaders, who are carrying a huge weight of uncertainty, impossible decisions and constant high alert.
Amongst our many DMs we found this gorgeous and uplifting message from a student nurse to her qualified colleagues.. for us it is everything that is good about the NHS and why it can still survive. Absolutely heartening! Share share share #WeAreComing#cavalry#NHSstudentsrock RT
She said “l am 83yr old lady was born in a family of 9, all dead now😢It’s been a while since somebody visited me on Christmas Day.Would you like to share a cup of tea and mince pie with me and it’s our family tradition”. So we had tea & plus more interesting world-war stories
All the patients l have visited today loneliness during the festival season was a common contributing factor to their current deterioration in mental state. Please check in with your loved ones a phone call or text will go along way and make a difference we all take for granted.
Recharged my batteries past few days good to go through out the festival season with a brilliant team. Holiday period can be a difficult time to some for various reasons. We provide a 24/7 service mental health crisis support. Please check in on each other & ask “how r you today”
Representing SABP at the two day conference - managing and supporting Diabetic patients in the community. It is clear how Primary care transformation will certainly play a bigger role -pleased its already happening .
Proud of HTT NW , 136 ACU and FRH , excellent teamwork during these difficult times of beds pressure across the nation. Liason services and CMHRS colleagues have been very supportive, much appreciated. Not forgetting senior Management for authorising additional staff. Thank you.
Great week with new staff joining the team. Welcome to HTT NW together we will aim to provide an excellent service. The journey is never smooth and we will encounter difficult moments but it’s how we work and support each other as a Team that makes the difference plus good coffee
