2024 Indiana: 19-13 (10-10 B1G), 45th KenPom, season ends with 13 point loss in opening BTT game
[Fire everyone, bring in completely new roster]
2025 Indiana: 18-14 (9-11 B1G), 44th KenPom, season ends with 13 point loss in opening BTT game
That's objectively hilarious.
My guy, I went to IU v Penn State back in 2017 to watch Trace McSorely throw for 300+ yards and Saquon to ram a kickoff down our throat within the first 15 seconds. So yeah excuse the fan base for not wanting to show up for that shit.
Congratulations to Indiana University and Coach Cignetti on winning their first College Football Playoff National Championship. One of the greatest turnarounds of all time.
None of it felt real until my dad’s text. He was at IU for the ‘87 basketball title and has slogged through it all, football and basketball, every single year since. It’s why I’m an Indiana fan.
Wow. This is what finally made me cry.
A 2-star QB scrambling for potentially the national-championship-winning touchdown on 4th down in his hometown against his hometown team after winning the Heisman for the most losing program of all time while his mother with MS screams for joy from her seat is possibly the limit of how good sports can get
Bignetti a Gangsta out there mayne!!! Great win! They can change the Heisman trophy to Mendoza stretching across the goal line! Why him and Coach look like they can star in their own version of Goodfellas?! I fwi
It’s 2026 and Indiana is a top football program and Nebraska is a top basketball program. We gotta stop pushing the idea of identifying as whatever you want.
Texas A&M went 7-1 in the SEC and was a tiebreaker away from making the SEC Championship Game and scored 3 total points at home against a "lowly" ACC team, so I think we need to retire the "SEC teams would go undefeated in every other conference" narrative forever
"One of the most dominate 10-game runs in history of college football"
Purdue (2-10)
at Arkansas (2-10)
Boise State G5
NC State (7-5)
USC (9-3)
at Boston College (2-10)
Navy G5
at Pitt (8-4)
Syracuse (3-9)
at Stanford (4-8)
The SEC’s second best team lost by 21 in a conference title game and had less rushing yards than teams that literally sat on their ass this weekend but yeah a much better conference.
Gus Johnson just said give Mendoza the Heisman now. DID GUS WATCH DIEGO PAVIA PLAY??? Mendoza was tough and made a big 3rd-down throw that iced the Indiana upset tonight. BUT PAVIA DID SO MUCH MORE WITH LESS IN A MUCH BETTER CONFERENCE. HE DESERVES THE HEISMAN.
@PMFIII@secnumbersguy Based on current ESPN FPI rankings and 2025 season results, only one team has beaten 3 top 25 FPI teams on the road: Indiana (at Oregon , at Penn State , at Iowa ).
