"Why not just play it as an exhibition? Let's not kid ourselves, it's just a way to make money. It no longer resembles the US Open mixed doubles tournament in any way and is a total lack of respect for the sport. It also harms the doubles players who dedicate themselves to this discipline. @Amekingdra People picking Fonseca are living in a dream world. He’s not got close to making the top 20 yet for a reason. no.32 in the live race - so far ‘26 has been less good than ‘25 for him. Has only ever won one match at the US open main draw… it’s madness that people think he can win!
