The Heat, Celtics, and Timberwolves are in a 3 team race for Giannis, per @ramonashelburne
"Right now it's really 3 teams you hear most about. The Boston Celtics, Minnesota Timberwolves, Miami Heat.... For Boston, it would be the best player they could give Jayson Tatum to play with in his prime. For Miami, pairing him with Bam Adebayo is the perfect front court pairing and the star they've been needing for a long time. For MIN, Ant Man has had success in the playoffs, but not gotten over the hump and you're on the clock with a superstar of that caliber in his 20s. That is a pairing they have long looked at"

@CelticsDale I don’t feel confident, but if nothing happens today, my antennas will be up.
That guy Ku Khalil who broke the Pistons thing said he heard the real was very close and most assumed it’d get done, but a deal that close shouldn’t take more than 48 hours
I was told a short time ago the Celtics have intensified their efforts to land Antetokounmpo.
The source declined to get into the details.
Another league source said he was told the Celtics were more receptive to moving star Jaylen Brown, although it’s unlikely he wound wind up in Milwaukee but rather with a third team.
While the Celtics appear focused on landing Antetokounmpo, it is generally believed Miami remains the frontrunner for the two-time MVP.
As we head for Miami, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to the city & people of Boston.

@jtreg91 I think his age is my big turn off, but people are just sleeping on how good he still is. Obviously you have a ceiling with his offensive limitations, but he fixes the problem you had with Embiid last year
The funniest thing about Gobert for DWhite is that both fanbases hate it and don't want to do it
So (assuming Giannis doesn't happen), it's definitely going to happen lmao. Although you can make a case that Giannis-Gobert is good on defense, IMO there's not enough spacing
@alpacinogrunt I've said it: most casual fans hate DWhite for Gobert on both sides, which means it's definitely going to happen (assuming Giannis doesn't)
