@Phil_Bellinger@ingham_steve Hi mate, I call it peaking not tapering and see the shift as a stimulus change ie less high volume gym. Don’t have direct measure of type 2x overshoot but maybe MRI typology can... We don’t detrain in our peak but rather further promote shifts to 2x while maintaining CSA 1/2
@jb_morin@Marco_Cardinale@_JR_Riviere@PierreSamozino@MattCrossNZ@LIBM_lab And including fatigue to the model is coming. But IMO too much research focuses on single contractions when most sport involves multiple contractions. Likely due to over reliance on weightlifting derivatives to measure FV.
@MehdiKordi@MenaspaP Pablo Melpensa always takes some convincing that’s why I love him so...
Iso, Quasi, Conc, Ecc all have their place at the right time.
@JamesAForbes1 I quit my phd after 6 years. Might not have walked away with the piece of paper but I walked away with knowledge and life experience that I put into effect today. If you do ever want to talk and a complete stranger is the preferred outlet send me a DM I will listen.
In February, I embedded with @CyclingAus@AusCyclingTeam at the Track World Champs in Berlin. Little did we know that the sporting world was about to be turned upside. I chronicled the resurgence of Australian cycling, coronavirus and all, for @AFRmag ($) https://t.co/yJNBe93zRB
