The Supreme Court has spoken. And while we are disappointed in the decision, we respect their ruling and thank the justices for their thoughtful consideration on this matter.

I’m for a range of innovative ideas along with streamlining of bureaucratic permitting to address our housing supply crisis. We urgently need to boost housing supply.

State government must lead, and the governor needs to create an all-hands-on-deck process to address the housing crisis. I would:

* Appoint an official to oversee efforts

* Hold a summit to get everyone on board

* Emphasize increasing supply to hold down rents
