This is the stuff - Hove bathed in sunshine, applause for the centurion, chatting with good friends, enjoying top-level sport.
Miss you @SussexCCC#GOSBTS
@WayneSBarton Hiya Wayne - I've been trying to reach you via email about the PP book but I'm just getting bouncebacks. Would you be able to DM me an alternate address please? Ta, N
Excellent to see @WayneSBarton's latest book appear on this week's @ColesBooks newsletter; his work deserves as large and mainstream an audience as possible.
@WayneSBarton Really, really good Wayne: so much depth .
FWIW, I think it's clear that both Busby and SAF weren't afraid to play around with structure when necessary: four forwards, keepers at corners, centre-half popping up, etc. Pertinent to discussions about the current team.
@WayneSBarton Did you ghost this? Seriously Wayne, where do you find the time? Your output is prolific.
Either way, ordered. @realpaulparker2 - you're a top man.
@reverse_sweeper Just reading @NightwatchmanXI 50- congratulations on a great read (the 2 books are on the pile as well).
Despite 25 years' experience in the biz, I'm still keen to know more about these 'operatic explosions' you write of - possibly a lack of vocal technique? 😉
The landmark 50th issue of The Nightwatchman is out now *raises bat*
Packed full of great writing from @reverse_sweeper, @Richedwards0803, @garfieldrob01, and more

@huwzat Sorry to have missed you yesterday - working. I'm keen to get my grubby mitts on a signed copy next time you're around, or if there's another alternative. Ta
@BPete1970@mt8qs4njjw I've always loved the fact that:
The melody of the 'Halls of Montezuma' is taken from Offenbach's comic opera, 'Genevieve de Brabant' and is sung by two [bumbling] gendarmes.
I've sung that duet many, many times.
