Good morning! 🌧️ Today (June 18) is shaping up to be a wet one as the remnants of Tropical Storm Arthur move through the region. Expect periods of heavy rain, localized flooding, and a low-end risk for a brief spin up tornado. Stay weather aware!

Potential Tropical Cyclone One is expected to bring heavy rain and gusty winds to Alabama on Thursday (June 18). Localized flooding and some tornado potential will be possible. Timing could still change.

🌀 We’re monitoring a disturbance that could develop in the northwestern Gulf later this week.Regardless of development, the system is expected to bring periods of heavy rain and gusty winds to parts of the Gulf Coast late this week.

Rain will start to move back into the area today, with higher chances in the southwest. Highs today will be in the upper 80s and lower 90s. Tonight, rain will increase in coverage, with lows in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
