@fatsculler Cos top nations won't now fund them. WR say 'we'll still support ltws' (while killing off events!) while GB say they won't fund/select any more, which is what killed ltw 8s 4-, not lack of interest from rowers. A thriving worlds scene pre-Olympics just written off by IOC/WR/feds
@fatsculler Yeah, and Paraguay have just medalled in the ltw 2-, but no more. Loads of ltw rowing at worlds before it made Olympics, now IOC, WR and federations have killed it off cos no olympic medals = no funding. Next stop mixed boats, end of rowing as we know it!
