På sociala medier sprids klipp som visar hur israeliska supportrar utsattes för antisemitiska attacker efter en fotbollsmatch mellan ett israeliskt och nederländskt lag i Amsterdam igår kväll. Vedervärdiga scener.

Detta två dagar innan årsdagen för Novemberprogromen som ägde rum i Nazityskland 1938, då judar mördades, synagogor sattes i brand och skyltfönster till judiska butiker krossades.

Länge har vi varit överens om att judar aldrig någonsin ska behöva frukta för sin säkerhet i Europa igen. Ändå sker just det.

Särskilt efter 7 oktober-attackerna ser vi återigen rå och ogenerad antisemitism på gator och torg i Europa och Sverige. Judar hotas och trakasseras – bara för att de är judar. Judar vittnar om att de är rädda och inte öppet vågar visa sin identitet. Det är inte vårt Europa.

”Aldrig igen” är därför nu. Antisemitism har ingen plats i vårt samhälle. Det är vår gemensamma skyldighet att se till att judar aldrig ska behöva frukta för sin säkerhet igen. Man ska kunna besöka synagogan och bära Davidsstjärnan med stolthet.
