The Uber fest continues. People stranded at the Trafford Centre bus hub trying to get to Altrincham like students Mohammed Smith, 35, and Haema Mosea, 21, are getting a cab.

Looks like a bumper pay day for Uber. Trainee barber Rowan Azizi, 28, normally gets the 247/248 to Altrincham. But he’s summoned a taxi!

Phillipa Doherty, 31, normally gets 2 buses from home in Eccles to her job in admin at Trafford General. She’s dropped her 2yo child off at nursery and waiting for an Uber to get to work. Journey that costs £2 normally will cost her £10.
