It's perfectly reasonable to accept the universal equality of humans as an axiom. It's not particularly valuable to spend time imagining what happens if we rebind man.

@ArtemisConsort @EricLevitz I don't need to seriously grapple with whether all humanity should be relocated to a moon colony, or if we should start worshiping volcanoes, or start killing everyone the moment they turn 50. Of course we can visit those ideas in fantasy. Politically, they are absurdities.

@gonglei89 I don't necessarily think it would have remained broken up into warlord zones, I just think over time it would have disintegrated. I think East Turkestan, Tibet, at minimum would have ended up as nominally independent carveouts. Probably more.
