I'm old enough to remember that Tyrelle Pryor entered the NFL draft and was immediately suspended. The Commissioner didn't want players to go to the NFL in order to escape punishment.

The judge’s reasoning for granting the injunction to Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby:
