This will result in the rebuild taking far longer than anyone wants to admit. It may be better for long term sustained success tho

@mdundas44 @TheProspectDon Unfortunately no D pick is worth 3rd overall if Schafer is gone, so I highly doubt they’d trade down with us. The more likely scenario is us convincing the islanders to trade down so they could get better value for Hagens at 3 while we take Misa 1st, but it’ll be costly

We are still very far off from any kind of success. I have a feeling we’re stuck with hiring a bridge coach this offseason
