Today I heard one news source comparing 1980s numbers to Today. No mention of the many non operational, now civilian contractor positions

@Yarrahbunjyil @TheEathen @TaskerLady89977 That is exactly my point, any machinery needs maintenance and has a limited lifespan. The fact you have a 33 year old Toyota is irrelevant. There are still early 1900s vintage cars around but they do not suit the modern world. We have to reduce carbon emissions. 1/2
