I have been walking #cotton fields in Southern NSW for near to 30 years. I have never seen #phenoxy damage as wide spread as I have this year. #farm incomes will be heavily affected due to this damage. There is more than 1 way to control burrs or melons. This has to STOP!
Left side of seed photo is western side of furrow showing better protection from SW wind last couple days, right side is eastern side of furrow more open to wind. Field is prone to heavy black root rot.
Double skip trial in whittonnsw -both 714/746 planted. Planted into moisture from 25mm rain event 25/9 prior to planting, then 6mm after planting. Haven’t flushed yet sitting in a bank of moisture. Photo 4 days post planting. @KokeeffeK@SouthernValleys@IRECNSW@csd_cotton
"We employ 7 people and their families all live on our farm. If they lose their jobs, that's 7 families that won't be in Leeton and need to find other work."

Cotton 23/24 poking out of the ground, 7days after planting here in the south, better start then last year. All sown before end of Sep - very rare occasion, there just going to need helmets and hoodies on this week 🤞🏻#whittonnsw@SouthernValleys@CottonAustralia
@tofar1 Does the neighbour know you sell yabbies?, out of this dam, if so more then likely did not tell pilot, or if wind direction is documented pushing away from your dam at time of spraying, pilot has done his job well
#Magnet proving yet again it’s worth in our cropping program here in the southern valleys, was able to direct drill in some barley before rain event #whittonnsw@caitlinmlangley@AgBiTechAU
