@steel8883@realDonaldTrump Course he is still the president! Just because he lost the election doesn't mean he walks out of the office within 10 minutes of the final ballots being counted!
“Nothing that I’ve seen regarding the election raises a legal issue that could succeed. There is just is nothing there,” Barry Richard, who represented Bush in the 2000 Florida recount, told @AP. https://t.co/R3h8Dy1KOk

Breaking now: Maine reinstates 14 day quarantine for some out-of-state visitors and delays reopening of bars and tasting rooms due to recent massive spike in coronavirus cases. Story coming soon.
@markcousinsfilm@criterionchannl Your eye is exceptional, though. I don't know if amateur is truly the word for your work except perhaps in the most limited sense of the term. The stills in EOOW were arresting, very good indeed.
@markcousinsfilm I'm moving from Maine to a job in Connecticut. I am completing a circle that began 20 years ago. A woman's love, family, friends and the potential for better work are all motivations. I have to get myself to pack. Haven't yet today, but I'll do some before I sleep. Baby steps.
@markcousinsfilm@criterionchannl I love photography and videography but I especially like seeing how Kubrick's training as a photographer served him so well again and again and again. Your use of landscapes in EOOW was lovely. How much still photography have you practiced? I gather you've definitely done some.
@markcousinsfilm@criterionchannl I'm not at all a sketch artist or painter so I love that you made this connection. These Arts were vital to Welles and I love anything that leads people into the world of Film Production. My only regret, if you could call it that, is that more people didn't follow Kubrick's path.
@markcousinsfilm@criterionchannl It's more than a fine personal essay film. It is first-rate Wellesian scholarship vital to keeping alive Welles' work. I hope to God you see this. There's a certain ecstasy in appreciating the work of an artist. I want you to be as happy and satisfied as you just made me. :-)
@markcousinsfilm@criterionchannl I just saw this for the 2nd time. Magnificent! What a beautiful gift to and of Orson Welles that you have given us all! Thank you so much. I subscribed to Criterion just to watch this. I've read everything about him that I can get my hands on. This is totally unique and original.
