@wallabies Assume you knew when you booked this in the date was likely to clash with the biggest sporting event since 2000 in Sydney and Australia (@FIFAWWC semi-final for @TheMatildas)???
@DHewsonPiano@PictureSporting Back in the day they only had a camera at one end. So every other over would be behind the batter and the others behind bowler. Packer’s Channel 9/ World Series Cricket introduced, for then the novel concept, a camera at both ends
@JohnSimpsonNews A while ago I sent the tabloids a made up story that the @BBC had plans to replace the national anthem at the Queen’s Christmas message with Ode to Joy as a way to unite the country. Sadly one news desk of a right wing mainstream tabloid took the bait. Any story to attack BBC!
@FrankRGardner@HeathrowAirport Sadly @FrankRGardner airlines and airports around the world just as bad. @JetstarAirways (JQ37) at Sydney Airport struggling to find a suitable seat belt for a wheelchair passenger. Surely it’s possible to cater for every passenger decently and equally. L
@bbctms@tmsproducer. Heard Aggers, Cook and Tommo talking on air re speed of fast bowlers. Do they bowl faster now than before? Worth watching this ABC doco that explored that very question through #Bodyline series: https://t.co/nnwWOpCxMC #Ashes#Ashes23
@andrewprobyn just read the ludicrous news that the #ABC is cutting the @abcnews political editor position. You’ll be missed and well done over the years, thank you. The role going too forms a worrying hole.
@marcrileydj always listen to your shows 24hrs late as down in Sydney. Just want to say this last 7pm show is phenomenal and thank you for the music over the years. Hear you again soon.
@RudiGeerts Although the photo you post isn’t of the SS Donau. A photo of the ship can be found here: https://t.co/Atiab4Bbrr
I can’t quite make out the name of the ship you’ve posted. Maybe ‘Nicca’? Wondering about its history and whether it to has a similarly grime and awful story?
Disappointed to hear the planned curtailment of the brilliant @marcrileydj and @gidcoe on @BBC6Music. Perhaps two of the best radios programmes in the world. #BBC#6Music#BBCRadio

@ByDonkeys One of the great things about @ByDonkeys is your videos normally have subtitles so are accessible to all. Please ensure they all do as many deaf and hard of hearing people enjoy them too.
@kate_day In Business with Peter Day was delightful and essential listening for me and often recommended to colleagues. My deepest condolences to you and your family. RIP Peter Day.
@BBCRosAtkins When discussing impartiality isn’t it important to distinguish between “impartiality” and “due impartiality”? Unless I’m mistaken isn’t it the latter the BBC is meant to conform to? In this day and age of opinion masquerading as fact surely this is a critical distinction.
