@evoskuil@BuyMoreAssets its not time wasted! some is educational (I know I've learned/reflected on my own opinions from debating you) and others provide good entertainment value (e.g. this whole thread/exchange 😂)
@Magnify_The_Sun@callebtc sorry, should have said cry* harder.
what is the imaginary character limit threshold in your mind between acceptable arbitrary data and unacceptable arbitrary data?
@LorenBoston fair argument, but I would argue my thesis is more along the lines of "nothing stops this train" and they run things hot into the ground. If they keep rates high and don't cave into bailouts/QE, then agree.. hold on to your hat. Would simply say I'm not betting on that outcome.
@LorenBoston I’m an advocate for people holding bitcoin, not stablecoins..
But regardless, to play along, I would suspect the incentives for average people living in places like Argentina, Lebanon, Turkey, Nigeria, Venezuela, are obvious to someone with your knowledge of broken fiat systems.
@LorenBoston Maybe they’ll both hold up.. Bitcoin and gold are both neutral, scarce, “safe haven” assets. I’ve never understood why gold bugs see them so differently. Most arguments against Bitcoin apply to gold too… unless jewelry is the dealbreaker.
