Your answer needs to make it seem like Jesus & Lord Krishna hand-crafted you in the heavens and that you descended down to earth to work in THIS JOB, at THIS COMPANY.
How do you create that sense of inevitability?

"You answered everything, thank you!"

Instead, do this this:
Using your product & company research ask specific, and well-researched questions, that demonstrate your passion for the role & business β
The best Data Scientists aren't great because they mastered SQL, Pandas, or TensorFlow.
They're great because they do these 3 things:
1. Solve tough problems with data
2. Solve tough problems with data
3. Solve tough problems with data

β . Cold email your project
Email hiring managers & recruiters at your dream company with the photo or GIF of the project embedded into the email.
This way that can SEE what you actually DID
(rather than 99% of candidates who TELL them what they COULD DO)
Google hiring for "Googleyness" is SO DUMB.
But don't let that stop you from preparing for behavioral interviews, because at smaller companies, cultural fit is a very real thing.
Online courses are a great start, but if you aren't building kick-ass portfolio projects to showcase your learnings... you'll be in trouble when it comes time for the job hunt!
