@SwanBryant@Breaking57 This type of thing is a “thing”. These people are auditors. Exercising rights by doing the very ones that cause upset to others isn’t clever. Repeated use of this “right” may end up with the law having to be changed, due to misuse.
@VCMM@RoshanaMN Are the Iranians you know living in Iran right now? Does your experience reflect that of the Iranian population? I think a lot of them, although didn't like the regime, had jobs and lives and are now losing those things as well as a basic quality of life, and didn't want that.
@VCMM@RoshanaMN With personal first hand experience of being in a coercively controlling narcissistic relationship, I can tell you that the most threatening thing America faces is its deception and division by Trump. To believe he cares about anything more than his own status is pure fiction.
@VCMM@RoshanaMN Sure, I will. And remember that we live in a democracy with institutions that are built over centuries and potentially demolished in an instant by a narcissists pretending to be Jesus, where war goals are consulted on. We are not a dictatorship!
@VCMM@RoshanaMN I’ve known and know many Iranians. My first proper boss (amazing female), and good friends who are first generation here. I’ve always had a natural interest in world affairs and history, including Iran.
@VCMM@RoshanaMN Our view points can both be true and are not mutually exclusive / should not have any relationship toward the other. The original post was a bit silly in that respect.
@MediaMoaning@ytruthmatters@danwootton I’ve consistently proven your position flawed. You assume bigot position by being strongly anti Khan based on false narratives. Saying STFU you lefty this and that on your first comment
@MediaMoaning@ytruthmatters@danwootton “Direct result of high crime” - nowhere in any of your articles is this statement supported. You have nothing to back that statement up. Stop trying to justify your bigoted views
@MediaMoaning@ytruthmatters@danwootton Reporting is up 11% this year, mainly due to new digital crime laws. A 244% figure is a ten-year trend showing a massive long-term rise in victims coming forward. More people report now than a decade ago, but 69% withdraw because the justice system is too slow.
@goodcitizen247@NoContextHumans Are you ok in the head? Look up statistics of abuse in relationships in proportion to gender. Then look at the situation rationally. Don’t speak for women if you’re not one.
@MediaMoaning@ytruthmatters@danwootton I missed your reply. That’s literally it. But you still haven’t provided any actual evidence to my factual data. I’ve not cherry picked on purpose. I’ve provided actual data when you’ve asked. You rely with articles that don’t support a counter argument to my data/
@MediaMoaning@ytruthmatters@danwootton You’re a right grifter aren’t you. Where exactly in those articles does it say actual baseline rape occurrences are up (regardless of convictions or police support)? As I said, recorded numbers are up but victims surveys indicate the no. of incidents is stable.
@MediaMoaning@ytruthmatters@danwootton London sexual offences are up ~11%, but much of this is due to new online safety laws and better reporting. Serious physical assaults and violence with injury are actually trending down. Reports are rising as tracking improves, even as high-harm violence decreases.
@MediaMoaning@ytruthmatters@danwootton London crime data shows two realities. Serious violence and homicides are at decade-level lows. However, "volume crime" is surging: phone snatching is up 93% since 2019, and shoplifting has doubled. You’re statistically safer from harm, but much more likely to be a victim of theft
@Hanna5Jimmy@ytruthmatters@danwootton Far left? Are you kidding? Hahahaha. He’s a rational human with a fair opinion who lives in London, like me, and I agree with him.
