Manchester United have secured the majority of the land required to build a new 100,000-seater stadium to replace Old Trafford.
The club announced on Monday it has acquired a 25-acre site north west of the current stadium from Indurent, an industrial warehousing company.
The land is located around 350 metres away from Old Trafford’s existing site — between Wharfside Way, Europa Way and John Gilbert Way.

The Lord has done it! A while ago I spoke to Tabz with a pleasant surprise hands shaking. He is out on police bond definitely he needs medical attention. To God be the glory as we demand for the release of all the rest it is not a favor it is a fundamental right guaranteed by the 1995 Constitution!
Sky Sports News understands Manchester United believe the land acquired for their new stadium, which is 350m away from Old Trafford, is seen as the best option to build their new 100,000 home as well as for the wider Greater Manchester Regeneration project 🏟️
