There’s a ton of these assorted art prompt things that float around this time of year, so i decided to do one of my own. This month I’ll be participating in #StockTober, wherein I take Stock Art I found and make D&D stuff out of it. Mostly monsters, but maybe some other stuff.
@Maziodyne_ Big same. Arkham Knight was some dogwater. If you want to close these out as a trilogy in a stronger manner, Arkham Origins is actually my favorite of the series.
@Actually_Tina@Maziodyne_ Yeah it gradually improves between where you are and then, but we did get a pretty major quality spike in the past few years. If you want a look ahead, try the hildibrand quests. They’re always slightly ahead of the curve on animation because it’s where they try new stuff out.
@kaicrewger@ErgoPixie Seconding the idea that you probably want something for each role. Personally I’d say you might want Gunbreaker over Warrior to first try tanking just since it starts at level 60 rather than 1, but being able to do all the role quests is a bigger deal than you might expect.
@Maziodyne_ This might be a bigger endeavor than you think. Idk what kind of free time you have, but these games start getting pretty long after the first couple. Def worth doing, but might go well into next year.
@Actually_Tina Refusing to move onto an expansion would in fact be a good reason not to subscribe 🤔 Very entertaining though, curious how he’ll feel by the time he gets there.
@Actually_Tina Honestly this version of secondhand highlights is probably ideal. We get to see stuff you know is funny/interesting without putting the entire weight of the community on him at once. Elegant solution.
@northgalis@JuriaCeirlaidh@yrgnef Like they don’t have a different suite of powers, just less. And their souls are likely less durable when between mortal shells, since sometimes we kill the very weak ones with like normal magic.
@northgalis@JuriaCeirlaidh@yrgnef I think it’s the process of turning a normal fragmented soul into an ascian in the first place. Like giving them their ancient memories and granting whatever powers they have. I’d assumed the unsundered were just generally stronger and were the only ones who could make more.
@JuriaCeirlaidh@yrgnef@northgalis Likely? Emet talks about how it’s a thing he can do pretty easily and that Lahabrea tended not to do it. We don’t have like explicit confirmation, but if it seems like that’s what they’re doing then that seems like one there.
@Actually_Tina I usually take that kind of thing with a grain of salt, and I can’t speak to if *that* is actually true, but look through their following and replies for yourself and it paints a pretty clear picture of their general character. Disappointing since they seemed entertaining.
@JCbackfire@CrystAAHHL Dude there's a whole cottage industry of people streaming the MSQ. There's a special term for the people who turn up to watch them. If you're interested then 100% go for it.
@Fw_Parkr Depending on your taste, you might really enjoy Stormblood. I know a lot of folks bounced off some of its themes and pacing, but I personally liked it better than Heavenward, at least generally. Really comes down to your interest in war stories, and how you respond to its villain
@NalaLeaff@grimoire43 I mean with 3 hours on each of the Dawntrail patches, that’s still 15 hours which is 3 days in the example given. So in your example, Dawntrail took 5 days on its own. You can def clear the game in a relatively low number of days, but it’s going to be a lot of hours per day.
@NalaLeaff@grimoire43 That is ludicrous. There are 992 quests in the full MSQ currently, with 61 required dungeons and 35 required trials. To do that in 105 hours (3 weeks with the rate shown in the image) is nowhere near possible for someone new.
@MechaKittn She’s basically kinning this guy’s dead wife so hard that it counts as prayer and lets her do a summoning, but it’s just how she imagines Shiva. There’s no actual connection between Ysayle and the original Shiva’s spirit.
