The US looked the other way when Crimea was invaded: & Russia’s invasion showed its guarantees were worthless. The US is now siding w Putin to the disgust of the world.

By the very fact that his emissaries sit down with Ru Trump is legitimising those crimes. Future adversaries will take note.

@bbcquestiontime He’s absolutely right. Also Putin has not stuck to any agreement he has signed regarding Ukr so why would he abide by any new negotiated settlement? He would use the space given by a settlement to rearm and would then try again.

@NOELreports The US should stop issuing fatuous advice. They’ve never had to fight a war under the restrictions they have imposed on Ukr. Reducing the recruitment age means the potential loss of the very generation needed to rebuild Ukr later.
