1. Hire Gainey.
2. Get Hodge and Stacy on staff.
3. See if you can keep P2, Able, Cloer and Wilkins.
4. Hit the TP hard.
5. Find a killer offensive coordinator.
6. Get LSU on the schedule.
Thinking about the Paul McNeil Jr situation.
He's got a million people in his ear right now, but you have to believe being from NC, that he understands that if he leaves for Baton Rouge, he'll be seen as a villain, and if he stays at NC State, he'll be a legend for life.
It's unfortunate, but that's kind of the reality. I mean, look at Julius Hodge. The guy almost left, came back, showed loyalty, and became a legendary figure forever in Raleigh.
McNeil has that chance.
If he stays, he likely breaks most of NC State's 3pt records. Still becomes a millionaire and still moves on to the NBA eventually.
When his career is done at 35 years old, he'll get to move back home, celebrated by everyone, with opportunities everywhere for the next 50 years of his life.
That's just how it works here. Hope he chooses wisely.
Wolfpack fans, if you wanna see P2 run it back with the Pack, repost with #RunItBackP2
@LO_Wolfpack I know you guys are fielding info rapid fire, but whenever your next pod is, can you address the current status of Andrew Slater, if any update.
The search in ON. 🔍 With Will Wade out the door, the loudest name in the room is Justin Gainey. He’s a @packmensbball legend, a Rick Barnes disciple, and a man who actually understands the weight of the NC State jersey.
Is it time for a ‘Homecominng’ in Raleigh? ✌🏾
NC State QB CJ Bailey on why he returned for his junior season: “In my heart, I knew I wanted to be at NC State.”
“I’m here now and I’m staying here. Y’all believed in me and I believe in y’all.”
