@FrankKhalidUK Giggs on the left, Robben/Bale on the right. Don’t get the obsession with Hazard - amazing dribbler, massive underperformer even in his prime. Sadio Mane being disrespected on this thread tho.
@arvofart Thought the reimagining of La Vita Nuova into an operatic piece for a tiny segment in Hannibal was fantastic. This post just feels like hating.
@GilesCoGo1 @DanielNixonPoet @fklein907 I mean, not that poetry has an agreed definition, but even the dictionary thinks you’re wrong. Free verse isn’t exactly a new form, and it’s produced the most impressive poetry ever written (imo). In future, just don’t gatekeep the arts?
@kareem_luhg @kingkalinowski @Madman22258018 Jose achieved amazing things at United but left mentality in chaos. We needed someone to bring back the feel good factor. Ole did this brilliantly. His tactics let him down in the end. Big Sam survives you relegation. Ole brings happiness back. That’s his niche - good manager.
@JinxFpl @The10HagEra @Boro_Breakdown He didn’t need to think about it too much when he had already promoted stalwarts who would stay in the team for years and years (e.g. Paul Scholes n Nicky Butt). Even Giggs dropping back to CM. His signings were fine to slot in as squad players.
@teresadg0 @MarcoGBiagi What policies of theirs are “far left” though? You’re free to use that phrase of course, but it seems wrong. Like saying current Tories are actual fascists. They’re not. They’re definitely right wing, though, and I’m no fan - but it would be wrong to sincerely call them fascist.
@teresadg0 @MarcoGBiagi I just struggle to see the current Labour as far left. Maybe the Corbynites. In terms of standard definitions, current Labour is most definitely centre-left, like Blair’s. Right?
@teresadg0 @MarcoGBiagi Yeah - does it correlate with “far left” as the accepted political ideology? Get the feeling it’s more a phrase you like to use with your own abstract definition.
