I’m gonna stop there cause nobody’s gonna see this anyway. So my point: movies from countries other than the US are great! There’s no reason they wouldn’t be! Any reason somebody tries to give is stupid! Subtitles are second nature after like one movie! Watch foreign films!!

Seeing any form of art as entertainment is fine and cool and I totally agree! But seeing a whole form of art solely as entertainment is where I draw the line. Specifically thinking movies here but this goes for anything. Don’t tweet much but this is on my mind rn

Another one that I don’t even have anything to compare it to: Bacurau (2019). Follows the people of a small town in Brazil who discover that their home is no longer visible on maps. I don’t want to spoil it, but if you’re a fan of some good action you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
