The saddest part of the last 24 hours in our country is the fact that we quietly watched a large part of our country redefine reality. Hate is love and love is hate.
Can you be the change? Can you love those you disagree with?
Can you see the lies from the truth?
Today a Christian thinker speaking in love was murdered in public. Are you willing to share your faith with the same intentional honesty and clarity?
Christ died for every one of us. The only hope to see our world change is the hope of the cross and forgiveness for each of us.
The cost of refrigerant for air conditioning is being driven by government policy, not the market. Capitalism broken through cronyism. Don't get me started on insurance being required by law. Aka fraud perpetuated on the public mandated by law. #whoisourpockets
John 13 3 of 3
We can complain about it all, right down to the temperature at the church on Sunday. We ought to be so busy sharing Jesus love among each other that everyone should want to know why we are different and want to be in the church
Obviously, that just isn't the case
John 13 2 of 3
We fail so completely at this the world around us doesn't believe us. As matter of fact we spend so much time arguing amongst ourselves that we do not have any credibility on the street. We as the church look like fools when we worry and argue about everything.
John 13 today 1 of 3
John 13:34-35 βA new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.β
John 12-3
Jesus then entered Jerusalem on a colt as promised by a Zechariah. The Psalms were sung over Jesus as that all took place. Fulfilling yet another of the 322 prophecies that Jesus fulfilled in his 33 years on this rock living a perfect life as our example.
John 12-2
Think about the reality that six days later she witnessed Jesus on the cross. Her hair still smelled strongly of that burial oil she had poured out. What a sweet yet sad moment for her, looking on as her saviour hung from the cross while smelling that oil.
John 12
Jesus is anointed by a woman with expensive, fragrant oil worth a year's salary. Think about that, an entire year of income poured over the feet of Jesus. Soon to be nailed to the cross through those feet. Then she wiped with her hair as a towel.
John 11 today

2. Jesus called Lazarus by name. There, most likely, were other bodies in the same tomb. Do you think those others leap until they heard it was not their time. Did they hear the voice of Jesus through the ages, yet were not called to come out.
John 11 today.

1. It is not wrong to feel emotion. Emotions are given to make us feel closer, tighter and with those around us. Jesus was overcome by Lazarus sisters grief. He finally broke down and wept. When was the last time you wept? What caused that?
John 10
He is our shepherd and we are his flock. I came so we may have life and life to the fullest.
Have you ever experienced a flock and their shepherd? In Kenya we have a flock of sheep. They don't move or make a sound until they hear their shepherd coming closer.
John 6
even though so many heard the message, they missed it. They were angry at the change that His message carried. That we can be redeemed without the 630 patriarchal laws along with the 10 commandments. The simple idea of grace was, is, and will be a threat to the status quo
John 8:25. If we could leave this impression on someone we meet. The man healed from blindness is asked if Jesus was a sinner. His answer, "I do not know, but now I can see "
What if we made one person answer that way about something we could do for them today?
Luke 24 - Even while on trial Jesus brought peace for two enemies. Pilot and Herod became friends through Christ's trials. The thief on the cross that choose to trust in Christ brings us peace that eternal life happens "today" when we end this life. "For today you will be with me
Luke 23 - we have all betrayed Christ like Peter before the rooster crowed. Will we look back and see our steps behind us to repent therefore setting firm our next steps?
