Anyone else feeling some sort of deja-vu about the current sneaker market?

Reminds me a lot of 2020-2021, great retros nearly bricking and then rising in value exponentially (AJ4 Thunder, Reimagined AJ3)

UNC, Michigan, & Michigan State dunks floating around on shelves like it’s nobody’s business

So many great pairs that were extinct during 2021-2022 are coming back on the market.

More parameters to navigate now:

More retailers, more channels involved in the distribution of things.

Market gaps between regions with some being over-stocked and others being under-stocked.

The key here is to understand these parameters and keep trying to find competitive advantages to get lower cost per unit than other competitors while sustaining inventory flow.

Margins are thinning out so it’s all volume now but that’s not a bad thing. Opens more opportunities for inventory acquisition at different scales, brings in more market makers and investors.

I’m excited to see what’s next.
