A record-breaking day @BBCRadio3 🥳
More hours spent listening to the station than at any other time in our history, and reach rising above 2 million to the highest figure in over two years.
Grateful to our listeners, and to the brilliant team of people who make it all happen.
oh lol they’ve already gone back on it. The fact that they tried going down the condescending route first (not to mention that it was, in fact, mindblowing levels of profiteering), feels like it’s going to take a lot to come back from this
Absolutely incredible levels of doubling down. “Hey just so you know this service is only for people desperate and/or naive enough to be exploited. Those who know how to use google and thus can find out how much a record is actually worth, they’re the real greedy bastards here”
Please note! We appreciate this service won't be suitable for everyone's needs i.e. those seeking to maximise collectible items. However for anyone looking to trade casually for a quick turn-around i.e. to make space, then this could well be a great solution.

@russellwarfield Think they massively overestimated the appeal of standing for an entire match and getting home from North Greenwich, when you can so easily sit in a pub with much better atmosphere or watching it for free in the comfort of your own home
Providing an open bar for 100+ people is so expensive! It’s really not a faux pas to focus your limited budget elsewhere like nice food and *some* free post-ceremony drinks if you can afford either/both
Not to wade too deeply in to the discourse but are there really people out there that think the only two options at a wedding are “free unlimited booze all night” and “no alcohol at all”? Have you never heard of…a cash bar?
