THE ART OF DECEIT: The two leading presidential candidates in the United States do not know how they will pay for their economic agendas. When Harris was asked how she intended to fund her plan, she told the reporter to focus on its benefits. When Trump was asked how he intended to fund his plan, he told the reporter that he would fund it with growth. He said he had done it before and would do it again.
So, let's look at the numbers: During Donald Trump's presidency, the U.S. national debt increased by approximately $7.8 trillion. Approximately $3.7 trillion of the increase can be attributed to COVID-19-related spending. The rest had nothing to do with COVID. Therefore, blaming COVID alone for the debt is wrong and not supported by the numbers.
Tax cuts and tariffs did not change the fact that the administration incurred more debt than any American president since independence, including those who presided over World War II and the other pandemic more than 100 years ago. Trump also says that he will impose tariffs on foreign goods so that the products can be manufactured in the United States and create jobs here. But that might take years, and prices will skyrocket in the United States, triggering massive inflation and economic hardship.
Harris, on the other hand, is just dropping figures, $6,000 for the child tax credits, and other policies on housing, but she does not seem to know how she will pay for her agenda.
None of them is actually giving specifics, because the reality is that the bulk of the government money comes from taxing companies and citizens. First, by lying to the people that you will tax only the rich and the big companies, only for the rich to increase the prices of their products and pass them on to the poor. It's all a scam.
But the poor often surprisingly defend the politician, pretending that they know what they are talking about or that they have good intentions. So, what am I saying? Imposing tariffs on Chinese goods will only lead to massive inflation in the United States. Imposing massive taxes on the rich will eventually mean imposing those taxes on the poor because the rich will just pass the increase to them by increasing the prices of their products.
It's all a massive scam. That's what happened at the beginning when the government convinced the poor to accept taxes. They told them the taxes would only be imposed on the rich and the government would use the money to build bridges, roads, and schools. At first, the people were happy. But eventually, they were punished more than the rich they hoped would be punished. You have to read the history of taxes in America to understand how they deceived the people. Now, the two leading politicians are again deceiving the people, and their supporters think they are right. They defend them, they say they can die for them, only to be punished by their policies. May God help the ordinary citizen see beyond lofty words! Amen!
