@GrimmiVT We have enough lines to divide us now , things that used to be inconsequential arguments have now become vitriolic and just giving people more reasons not to like someone else isn’t good in my opinion
@EpicNNG Oh yeah they should definitely make a sequel to a widely criticised game with a studio that has bled it’s incredible talent to every other corner of the industry , I wonder how long they’ll wait to delete half of the game this time, I just got no faith for destiny sorry
@Oceaniz96 Multi year time skip could also mean the guild has built a stronger presence in the forbidden lands, maybe we’ll get full player housing in the hub?
@TheSoulRequiem2 if he wants a game where he can relate to the protagonist then he should play the binding of isaac. You play as a giant bald fucking baby that cries all day and shits on the floor
@transmeatloaf I do wonder how many people have farmed equinox, as it does involve building the day half, night half and then the final single frame, which to me explained why it’s one
does not shoot like the gun
does not deal the damage of the gun
does not visually look even remotely similar to the gun
call this mf the inconceivable geralt atp
Resident Evil 4’s Leon Kennedy is being bossed around by a woman.
I've watched the first 5 min. of 'gameplay'.
Leon:
"So the subject’s name is Ashley Graham?"
Woman over comms:
"She’s the daughter of the President. So try to behave yourself Ok?”
This is a disaster.
Let me trace the timeline here because nobody's connecting it.
Step 1: Scrape the entire internet. Every book, every article, every conversation, every piece of art, every forum post. Do it without asking. Do it without paying.
Step 2: Train a model on all of it. Call it "artificial intelligence."
Step 3: Go to BlackRock's Infrastructure Summit and announce: "We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter."
Step 3 is where you sell people's own knowledge back to them. On a meter.
They took the collective output of human thought, compressed it into a model, and now they want to charge you by the token to access a version of what you and everyone you know already created.
One Reddit user put it perfectly: "They stole all this data from us, the people, our life's work, creativity, art, by devouring the internet and blowing through all copyright laws. Now they want to sell it back to us in the form of a utility."
Imagine if someone photocopied every book in the public library, burned the library down, and then opened a subscription service for the copies.
That's the metered intelligence business model.
And they're pitching it to infrastructure investors as though they invented water.
Everyone going so nuts might have legitimately impacted if we ever get a season 2 or actual movie.
Goose I don't know if you'll ever see this, but so many of us loved what you did. Please don't give up on writing what you love just because the most hateful peeps are being loud
@GenePark I will also admit I enjoy reading your talks and discussions around games, and I will miss it, but I understand why you’ve chosen to distance yourself from it and all I can do is hope it is better someday in the future
