People think this is gonna happen overnight. Instead I think they should realize it’s going to be a medium term trend which will coincide with many of those knowledge workers just choosing to retire who are often already near the end of their career. That trend combined with folks having less kids will likely have minimal effect due to the drop of labor participation.
