Neringa has been with us close on 20 years now and anyone that long in the industry will know how tough you have to be!
How many tons per hour can these 4 big boys catch?
And the Annelies Ilena, the worlds largest Trawler heading out to fish as well... Let's not forget that this was the Atlantic Dawn, a boat hailed by the Irish government 👀
All fine boats but at what cost to our oceans?
@mistereatgalway UK being passed as a land bridge has also led to millions less in revenue from haulage companies!
So many more trucks on the Dublin/Rosslare - Cherbourg route these days.
Too many hold-ups and delays with customs & paperwork at UK borders.
They don't come much stronger than our Neringa! Neringa has been with us for 20+ years and makes short work of this monster 140kg Halibut!!!
Landed into Greencastle, Co. Donegal.

Lenny isn't just culinary director for Levy Ireland, he's also an amazingly strong swimmer!
Going that extra mile to learn about the journey the produce he uses on his menu's takes to get from @rwbmussels to his customers.
Let’s talk about mussels!
Leonard Fearon, culinary director for Levy Ireland, headed down to Roaring Water Bay to meet up with the team at Nick’s Fish, to learn more about the mussels we use in all our Irish venues.

What an amazing day. Huge thanks to @rwbmussels @Nicks_Fish for taking the time to showcase world class sustainable organic mussels in pristine waters. 🙏
Love seeing them off Ireland....
"February 2022, the Margiris shed over 100,000 dead fish into the Atlantic Ocean off France, covering an area in excess of 3,000 sq/m"
"The skipper of the world’s largest trawler has been convicted of breaching EU fishing regulations"
@IrishFoodGuide@Seasaver@paulcaddensaba@EamonRyan@naval_service@Irishwildlife@IWDGnews The worlds largest trawler the Annelies Ilena started out as the (Irish registered) Atlantic Dawn!
Any boat if not monitored can cause massive destruction, the SFPA monitor our fleet but simply do not have the resources to monitor every foreign registered boat in our waters.
...and looks like, they ain't going down for a while!!!
Because salmon is a globally traded commodity prices in Norway determine the pricing for the rest of Europe & UK, hope everyone is ready for fillet prices of >€20 😩
