DISINHIBITION:
An explanation of Donald Trump’s posting himself dumping excrement on American citizen via jet plane and his ongoing total lack of inhibition. The man is in a mental death spiral. We are not safe. 🔥🔥🔥
Scientists at Trump’s EPA say they are being told to make chemical risks “disappear on paper.” Not to study or manage them, but to make them vanish.
When a safety test on a household chemical shows danger, supervisors reportedly ask to keep shrinking the scenario until the poison looks safe.
They have reassigned senior scientists to paperwork and handed life-and-death risk assessments to staff with less experience. They have installed former chemical industry lobbyists to run the very offices that are supposed to regulate the chemical industry.
A gift to industry, paid for with your family’s health.
They are even throwing out research on how certain chemicals hit certain communities harder, calling decades of established science “DEI.”
You can make risk disappear on paper.
The cancer does not disappear.
The birth defects do not disappear.
The infertility does not disappear.
The kids drinking the water and getting sick do not disappear.
The EPA exists to protect people, not to protect the profit margins of the people poisoning them.
Every American deserves to know what is happening. #TrumpMakesUsSick

Of all the selfish, narcissistic things Trump has done, attending MSG to see the Knicks play in person Monday night is the absolute worst. 20,000 attendees will be MASSIVELY inconvenienced for all the extra security, the Knicks Watch Party at Garden Is canceled, thousands of extra law enforcement officers will be required (paid for by taxpayers), traffic will be a disaster -- all so he can sit in the Garden rather than watch the game on TV.
Presidents ought to be willing to sacrifice once in awhile.
To those who know better but continue to enable this man:
History will not look at any of this kindly. Your grandchildren will ask what you did. They will see the videos and read the transcripts. They will know who spoke and who looked away.
Country before party. Prove it now, while it still counts.
Donald had a temper tantrum on national television and walked out of an interview simply because Kristen Welker presented him with a basic fact.
Note to other journalists: now is the time to pile on. He won't be able to handle it.
It is amazing to watch Hegseth shit his pants at Normandy, while he knows deep down that what the Allies saved Europe from then, was racist trash like him
It’s a great day to remind Bari Weiss, the CBS News chief now destroying 60 Minutes, that freedom of the press is not a suggestion.
It is a constitutional right.
Scott Pelley says CBS forced him out for refusing to compromise his integrity, for refusing to bend the broadcast to appease the White House.
We must not stay quiet while the people running a major news outlet are accused of choosing partisan games and political interference over telling the public the truth.

I have watched 60 Minutes my whole life.
So have millions of Americans. For nearly 40 years, Scott Pelley was part of why. He is one of the truly great American journalists, and CBS just fired him, one day after he stood up in a staff meeting and told the truth about what is being done to the institution he gave his career to.
Pelley said new management told him to inject falsehoods and bias into a politically sensitive story, and to report claims that had not been verified. A journalist of his caliber refused.
For that, he was shown the door.
He is praying for a day when sanity, competence, and courage return to that newsroom. So am I.
This is bigger than one man losing one job. 60 Minutes has held the powerful to account since 1968. When the people willing to ask hard questions are pushed out and replaced by people willing to soften the story, every American loses a watchdog we did not know how much we needed until it was gone.
Scott Pelley deserved better.
The country deserves better. A free press does not survive on its reputation. It survives on people with the spine to defend it, and we should all be paying attention to what is happening.

There is no world in which this is okay.
Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito did not recuse himself from cases involving Trump’s Treasury Department while his own son was secretly working there as a political appointee and attorney.
His son's employment was hidden so thoroughly that his name appears nowhere on the Treasury Department website, he has no public resume, and his bar listings are outdated.
If Alito had recused himself, the secret would have come out. He didn’t recuse himself.
This is a clear conflict of interest, and the American people deserved to know about it.
The federal recusal standard is clear: a justice must step aside in any case where there is a reasonable basis to question whether he or she can be impartial. A justice ruling on cases involving the department where his son works fails that test. The Treasury Department sits at the center of some of the biggest legal fights of this administration, and challenges to Trump’s $1.776 billion January 6 slush fund could be headed to the Court next.
The Supreme Court is the only court in America with no binding code of conduct. That is completely unacceptable, and it has to change NOW.
Congress controls the Power of the Purse, and therefore the Court’s funding. If the Court will not adopt a binding code of conduct with real recusal review on their own, I support withholding their funding until they do.
