@MorrisonBeth If and it is a big IF the right environments for ALL were working and in place, then ‘feral’ ie Autistic children would not have need to meltdown or feel so unsafe they have no choice but to communicate through behaviour. Job not being done right, if children need restraint.

@MorrisonBeth 💔 Criminal. I am so glad I took my son out of a special school. He was isolated due to not putting his shoes on. What followed was abuse. One of MANY incidents where he was traumatised, we were blamed as parents and he was labelled naughty. DISABLED. Not naughty. It must STOP.

@Andy_Bilson @Beth_Tastic Children are not happy and supported in school. Neither are teachers. Assessments and diagnoses taking years. Don’t blame Covid. Damage was done long before. Unsuitable environments for both children with/without additional needs. What world are we educating for? Who benefits?
