@cynical_disney As someone who loves an adult beverage and swears like a sailor, I agree. Being aware of your surroundings, understanding context, and acting with just bare minimum decency toward others is a lost fucking art.
And knowing the source of any type of suffering or discomfort but unable to truly close the door on my bad feelings because what if I need those negative feelings? It's just a weird deep hole to exist in
But there's always the reality that these things that we, or I, don't fully deal with when they happen tend to haunt you and damage you. The isolation I felt from that relationship, the second guessing, all of it continues to effect me even now.
What in the ever loving spaghetti is going on in Italy and this opening ceremony. My mouth is agape and my brain is filled with olive oil. Who, why, what, huh!?
@disneytipsguy I have absolutely loved seeing your adventures over the last several days. This made me audibly laugh, thank you and have a good rest of your trip!
@wallin_ballin For me, the monorail represents sort of the first taste of magic while entering the Magic Kingdom. Being 6 years old and riding a train that went through a building (that we later had a meal at and watched fireworks from) was a thing of wonder that has sat with me into adulthood.
Update: I could not eat my way through $80 worth of airport lounge food BUT I dont think I will be able to go back to not hanging out here in the future.
Update, I crossed a six lane street and ate a cheeseburger for lunch. Then came back to the lobby and gave into their demands for more money only to have them give me my room and key and waive the early check-in fee π Either persistence pays off or someone pitys me. Win-win.
For instance, if my room isn't ready and I do not feel like paying $50 for early check in. Even after the hotel app says my room is ready (with room number included) and I ask again, I will gladly just accept that my room is definitely not ready and go hide in the lobby until 4pm
@ItsLucasKim@rideaudio@niksenergyadv I think it's also worth mentioning that Dreamers Point is a prime example of them adding a calm/serene area of the park and people gave them a fair amount of crap for it. Regardless of what the mega corporation does they usually hit the mark on making the space look/feel good.
