Today, we mourn the loss of Charlie Kirk. No one should lose their life to violence, no matter their views or convictions. His death is a painful reminder that our country must find a better way to resolve our differences. We can debate ideas, we can disagree passionately, but violence can never be the answer. It only divides us further and robs families, friends, and communities of those they love. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and all who are grieving. May this tragedy push us to work harder for peace, respect, and understanding in our public life.
