Fantastic CPD event tonight courtesy of OWLS child bereavement charity in Leeds. Looking forward to referring primary school age children for help. #ParaCPD#YAS#OWLS#Interoperability#Pathways
'My Grandad is 90 years old and has dementia. I'm a drummer in a band, and every time we have a new track I go around and play it to him!
I really want to show people what a small thing like music can do for a person with dementia!'
- Liam, with his Grandad Mo ❤️❤️
This is a fantastic reminder that truth with kindness allows people to prepare for dying: it's a gift to them, and to the people who will mourn them.
Use your D-words, doctors, nurses.
Thank you @carolinefiennes.
College of Paramedics CPD event. Identifying and Managing the Dying Patient at home. Looking forward to learning some useful things to put into practice in YAS. # EoLC # YAS # Laura McTague # Huddersfield uni.
Can't imagine how difficult it must be to make the right call: paramedics require courage & integrity. They take a lot of criticism (decisions can look easy in retrospect) & deserve gratitude & respect.

I'm delighted at how #WiththeEndinMind is being taken up by #paramedics.
We rely on them to make difficult decisions abt strangers on v little information. Sometimes it's blue lights & intrusive life-preserving interventions. But facilitating calm dying can be equally important.
If any tech or para followers could help me out with this survey for uni it'd be much appreciated.. totally anonymous I just want a broad idea of knowledge and training https://t.co/wzTUvymRI7
