@Harken333 and yet people were fine when a kelpie, a Celtic mythological creature, appeared in a Norse game
Cultures borrow from others all the time, stop whining.
@EndymionYT Bro thinks he's so original, that Thor would so much care about helping others.
He was a strong, ruthless warrior. Hí faults and guilt are what define him. Stop romanticizing and put him on a hero's journey
@EndymionYT So you want another game about a broken man finding his way back? Like the exact same storyline we've been going through with Kratos?
Yeah just shut up really. Not everyone needs a redemption story. Norse gods live, fight, and die: there's no need for meaning here
@T_NguyenDev@TheSoulRequiem2 Correct me if I'm wrong but historically Sparta was very progressive with women's rights. They were allowed to vote and even own property. So yes, might be a little far-fetch to say Kratos is a feminist, but he was certainly raised in such an environment
Just a reminder that Kratos reveres Faye as one of the strongest warriors he's ever seen.
If you're somehow pissed about Laufey because she's "not as badass," you're a fake as hell GoW fan who probably just hates women. And you should look into that.
@ItsLazBoi@MelechMenuse But isn't that how we should view life and death?
We always imagine a paradise where our loved ones spend doing what they love, keeping them alive in memory.
An actual afterlife in the game feels very satisfying as it reinforces that same idea
But its gow, so fighting is a must
@Hman3488@MrJulianR1 And he was used by the Empire for all that. He just had the proper motive that aligned with the Empire.
I don't think his grudge with Cassian was badly developed. Syril just had glorified injustice so his life had some meaning, whereas for Cassian it was just another empire scum
@Hman3488@MrJulianR1 oh no but I think it's way better in showing how evil The Empire was. No matter how dedicated you were, you'd still be completely disposed of at the earliest inconvenience. That's why I like the arc of Syril and Dedra, complete loyalty, received nothing
