Got snaphots with Ni~ya and Hitsugi in Helsinki (goddamn loose shoelace, should've fixed that)!
I'd hoped to show Hitsugi my 2023 Halloween pumpkin based on him as well, but, alas, things had to move along quickly.
Glad you came to Europe, Nightmare ๐๐
@gamesyouloved Still haven't even seen a reason to get a PS5, and if it wasn't for Bloodborne, my PS4 would literally just be a DVD / Blu-ray player.
So, no, not about to get some BS all-digital PS6.
Nintendo's the place to be.
Sony's killing themselves.
@MetroidFREAK21 For the remainder of this year, probably just Fire Emblem, Castlevania and OoT. Might've got Star Wars Zero Company if it was on Switch 2.
Also double-dipping on the Hollow Knight games for SW2 versions.
Oh, and Lies of P and Stellar Blade, I guess.
So, from now on, can we...
- Not wait until June to even start giving current-year games release dates?
- Distribute casual / core releases more evenly? No need for core games to only show up in the last 30% of the year.
- Not skip the Q1 Nintendo Direct?
@GrahamC47 But will they, though?
I hear Switch cartridges have an expected lifespan of about 20 years at most (some are already 10 y/old).
Game Boy, DS and 3DS cartridges have already started dying / malfunctioning.
This is something I think about a lot, as a physical games collector.
Would be cool if some of the OST for the new Fire Emblem was available to listen to now.
Leave out the spoilery stuff, sure, but I'd like to give some tracks a proper listen, cause it's clearly pretty good based on what we've heard in the short trailers so far.
@Diego_X_Flores@Mearokii Because of the emphasis on the doubles format, and the way the bosses would use legit doubles strats against you.
I also liked that the pool of accessible mons was a bit limited.
In other words, it had more depth / challenge than you usually get with the franchise.
@takeme2hobbiton Ultimately, why do we all get out of bed and endure the BS of life every day?
It's so we can sometimes have some nice experiences and make some memories.
And that's what gaming is - nice experiences.
For some, it's travelling, for me, it's gaming.
Normies don't understand.
Hoping for a new era of fun IcedCoffeeGaming challenge runs / build ideas etc with Fortune's Weave.
Must've spent as long watching his Engage content as actually playing Engage (hundreds of hours).
I don't think I'm buying any games in the period between Mina the Hollower and Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave.
Just nothing particularly interesting on the menu, as far as I can tell.
