Can't we come up with
Disaster relief atm machines with independent power and satellite internet access
People can't pay their rents (yes many are still being charged in spite of the disaster)
Buy food ect
These people have money they are just locked out

I have friends in cape coral FL
They were at landfall of hurricane Ian
And one thing that stuck out was there's no internet
No internet means no atm no point of sale systems
Banks are closed
All services are cash only and few people have access to their cash

@ddickeyart Just to note, my brother in law made the same move (lives with me now)
For a little over 5k smaller family less stuff and fewer stops along the way and was able to take a shorter route I had to avoid winter weather

But I have a large family and had a place rented before I left
