An unarmed Iranian ship was invited, along with the U.S., to be part of an Indian Naval exercise, and its sailors paraded on land before the president.

The U.S. at the last minute pulled out of the exercise and instead attacked the Iranian ship with a torpedo.

Breaking with all norms of civilization and warfare, we then refused to rescue the drowning survivors. The Sri Lanka Navy was left to pull the dead bodies from the water.

I am hard pressed to think of any other nation throughout history that would do something so cowardly and despicable. We are genuinely in a league of our own, and American media — mostly shrugging off the bombing of a girls school and acting as if carpet bombing Tehran is a normal military tactic — is deeply complicit.

It is unfortunate to say that, by the looks of it, Ukraine isn't looking good in terms of holding out for much longer. Russia is slowly creeping its way into Europe and the morale of that country seems as strong as ever.

They now control ~20% of the land.

In turbulent times, regardless of the fact that our Courts have no real backing power, there is some outstanding piece of literature that comes out of these docets.

I've said again and again that America's real hope in our time is our courts. They are often poetry in real form.

It's hard to know what to think here.

Reporters tend to feel very entitled to information in the US, and any restriction on their freedom is deemed a threat to their first Amendment right.

Regardless, in the US, it's a worrisome thing when this kind of thing happens.
