My previous post about my revenue blew up, and a lot of you asked for tips on growing on the Framer Marketplace.
Hereโs one tip: add extra information inside your templateโs canvas. Donโt ship a template with just the website and nothing else.
All of my templates include a custom welcome note and tips about one of the hottest topics right now: AI.
Why? It keeps people engaged with your template instead of having them forget about it and remix another one.
Next, I plan to add a prompt library to each of my templates. Itโs all about making the editing experience as good as possible.
@bybellarizp@framer@dubdotco So cool to see that I inspire people! If you need an opinion on your templates or your business in general, feel free to ask!
@fernando_bisca@framer@dubdotco Less clicks, but I think it just need time. People will get used to the new marketplace and learn how to use it. The change was pretty radical, so I'm not surprised to see less traffic at the beginning.
June revenue hits $13,294!
All from my @framer Marketplace revenue with @dubdotco.
I never imagined reaching this level of revenue when I started 2 years ago, but here we are.
Iโm incredibly humbled and grateful to have built something that has helped more than 50,000 people launch their websites.
Iโm so excited for what comes next!
Indeed, I sometimes get emails from my template users asking if I can design a custom website from them.
Honestly, for now (and I know it's not very smart) I just tell them that I don't have time and refer them to friends. Money from templates alone is more than enough for me.
I've been thinking about doing something about it, but I'm so focused on improving my template business that I hardly have the time for it!
@Bregmantibor@framer@dubdotco For now, I get all my traffic from the marketplace. The downside is that I'm 100% dependent on it, so I'm working hard to diversify.
@bourgilat@framer@dubdotco Focus on what you're good at. I made tons of websites for plumber, consultants, home renovation specialists etc during my freelance career so I already knew what kind of designs worked for those niches.
