@globeandmail Your coverage of the #IsraelHamasWar has been so one-sided that I will be cancelling my subscription. Calling #hamas “militants” and having the same front page photos and stories for four weeks straight isn’t doing it for me. #canada#israel
@washingtonpost@JasGarsd@JasGarsd Why aren’t you posting or covering anything to do with the kidnapped Israeli civilians after the terrorist attack on Oct 7. I have greatly admired your journalism, but don’t understand why only one side is being covered by you. Disappointing.
@limitlesseyes@YorkUniversity York University is not a Jewish funded school. Check your facts. It is a public university funded by the government. Comments like these are pathetic. I am an alumna of @YorkUniversity and I am embarrassed.
I'm proud to announce that I've been selected as one of @readthepeak's 2023 Emerging Leaders! It's an honour to share this accomplishment alongside many inspiring Canadian leaders.

2/2 In each pocket, there were #hrbc residents who made this experience excellent. From @HumberSummit001 up at the top of the ward, followed by Norm and Precious on Lindylou, to Edith in Verobeach to @monica_dalbello - you were all so motivating and helpful to me. Thank you!
1/2 don’t even know how to begin to say thank you to my family, friends and organizations that helped me with my election campaign. I do want to also thank from the bottom of my heart all of the fantastic people that I met across the ward.
Thank you to everyone who came out for my last canvass today, including @yaarasaks. I can’t believe that tomorrow is the election - please remember to go and VOTE! Polls are open from 10 am - 8 pm. #dason4trustee#hrbc#topoli#onted
@kadiibarrie@CBCToronto Thank you and @DaleManucdoc for the excellent coverage. I saw the team at a few community gatherings that would not have been covered in the same way, if at all. The stigma surrounding the community is very real and hopefully, people reading were able to rethink their POV.
3/3 I simply do not have the confidence that this conversation will give me and other unendorsed candidates a fair shake. I will not be participating in this evening's meeting. If you have any questions about what I stand for, please reach out directly to [email protected]
2/3 I participated in exactly this earlier this week with the Jane Finch Education Action Group. However, @DownsviewAdv has chosen to endorse a candidate prior to this online meeting.
1/3 A note about the Humber River-Black Creek All Candidates Online Q&A Meeting taking place tonight hosted by Peter Wolfl, contributor to The Downsview Advocate. I believe in the importance of debate, open forums with other candidates and dialogue with the community.
Thank you so much to @JFAAP for hosting a forum yesterday evening where candidates were able to voice their concerns and questions. I was proud to be able to focus on palpable solutions to bring change to #hrbc. #dason4trustee#topoli#onted#election
