Last weekend ASEAN risked that Min Aung Hlaing might do what he actually did – use the Summit as a propaganda ploy. Indeed, he tried to appear to be what he is not - a legitimate leader. The good news: Those who ARE legitimate are ready to engage: the National Unity Government.

#Myanmar’s military screened the pictures on the right - young women they had detained, bearing harrowing signs of abuse - on the nightly news today. They fact they felt free to show these images - and wanted to - speaks volumes.

Instead of inviting a world's top criminal, Min Aung Hlaing, to attend a summit on Apr 24, @ASEAN should cut any ties with the SAC Terrorist group.
Don't handshake with a criminal. All our blood on his hands.

Murderer-in-chief Min Aung Hlaing must not attend the @ASEAN Summit. SAC is not our elected government and not legitimate. Nothing good will happen to the Myanmar citizens and he still won't stop his killings after this.
