Na bijna zeven jaar is er nog steeds geen grondig onderzoek gestart naar de misdragingen van Hugo de Jonge. Wierd Duk stond en staat aan dezelfde kant als Hugo de Jonge: zoveel mogelijk prikken in zoveel mogelijk armen zien te krijgen.

Dat columnist Marianne Zwagerman nu aangifte doet tegen Hugo de Jonge wordt als nieuws gebracht, terwijl destijds tienduizenden Nederlanders al aangifte deden. Hugo de Jonge zette als minister van VWS miljoenen mensen onder druk om prikken te nemen, loog over ongevaccineerden op de IC en liet critici – vooral artsen – hard aanpakken. De media hielpen destijds mee in plaats van de regering en ministers te controleren.

In een rechtsstaat was er onafhankelijk onderzoek gekomen. Wat we nu zien is theater. Wierd Duk is geen onafhankelijke journalist, maar een overduidelijke gatekeeper van het narratief. Waarom zit hij in de talkshow alsof hij verstand heeft van de coronaprikken en niet een echte deskundige zoals internist-intensivist en gepromoveerd immunoloog dr. Jona Walk?
